Laura Tedesco is a custom jewellery designer in Hamilton. Her last website, designed 5 years previously, was simply out of date. I designed a responsive web experience that better reflected her brand, showcased her pieces in a more user-friendly way and utilized a robust contact form that streamlined the consultation process for Laura's team.

The homepage banner took advantage of the Tedesco team's in-house ability to create and edit video content.  I wanted to show in a quick b-roll style what Laura's process was like so potential customers could emotionally engage with the brand almost instantaneously.

In the past, customers had struggled to engage with the galleries.  By working with the development team to create meaningful categories and tags in the back end we were able to create a filter for site visitors, allowing them to get to what they like right away.

I knew from client discussions that customers were coming to consultations with Pinterest boards, so I optimized this process by adding a Pin it button, allowing site visitors to Pin jewellery without needing to navigate away.  This decision also had the benefit of increasing the brand's visibility on Pinterest.  I designed a related jewellery feed below each piece of jewellery to encourage further site engagement as well as a CTA to get in touch, driving site visitors to use the contact form.  I designed the contact form to get exactly the right information from potential customers up front so Laura's team can start the consultation process immediately.
